Lawn program
A lawn program with seven visits
Kansas City lawns swing from freezing winters to dry summers. The program follows that year, and each visit leaves notes on what you can do between ours.
What's included
Seven visits, March to November
Feeding, weed control and grub prevention
Notes on watering and mowing height
Overseeding quoted separately in the fall

A visit
What happens at each visit
Step 1: Walk the lawn
We measure it, note the shade and the slope and look at the soil at the edges.
Step 2: Feed and treat
Fertilizer and weed control timed to the season, with grub prevention in early summer.
Step 3: Leave notes
Your report says what we applied and gives watering and mowing height for the weeks ahead.
Step 4: Adjust
A thin spot or a new weed is written into the next visit.
Before and after
What helps between visits
Mow high
A taller cut shades the soil and slows weeds. Your report gives the height for the month.
Water deeply
A long soak once or twice a week beats a daily sprinkle. We tell you what your lawn needs.
After a visit
Keep people and pets off the lawn for the time on the label. We tell you what that is.
Questions
Questions about lawn program
When is the best time to overseed?
For fescue and bluegrass in our area, early fall. We quote it separately and add it to your invoice if you say yes.
What about kids and pets?
We can't promise that, and nobody who follows the label should. Licensed applicators use each product the way its label says. We tell you what we applied, where, and how long to keep people and pets off a treated lawn; the label sets that time. Ask for the product list for your visit and we'll send it.
How long until I see a difference?
Most homes see less pest activity within a couple of weeks, though it varies with the pest and the house. A lawn changes over a season, not a week, and weather and watering matter as much as the visits do.
What if pests or weeds come back between visits?
Tell us, and we come back and re-treat what is named on your visit report at no charge while your plan is active. The terms are under the bundle table; they don't cover pests or weeds we didn't treat for, or turf lost to drought, disease, heavy use or watering.
